Will RapidShare be forced to shut down? Chances are it WILL

“The music industry in Germany has secured a legal victory over the hugely popular file-hosting service, Rapidshare. According to the rights holders, Rapidshare is going to have to stop its users from downloading infringing music tracks from its servers, or face the prospect of being shut down.”

RapidShare is Free Files Host that’s widely used for illegal distribution and piracy of adult content, software, copyrighted movies and songs, pictures etc… If it gets closed down it will not only reduce amounts of illegal content online directly, it will also make hundreds thousands of 404 links from illegal porn forums from all over the Internet where people are posting links to illegal contents hosted on RapidShare… Maybe there is hope for online adult industry after all
