What can we do against copyright piracy? Sites like RapidShare, Illegal Tubes or Surfers Forums are posting thousands of videos and pictures sets… You can send them email and ask to remove your content but what to do if you get no reply to your request?

Today i was reading one adult webmasters board and one guy mentioned Remove Your Content service as one that helped him, so i want to spread the word by posting about it If you’re affiliate program, paysite owner or content producer you might want to give this service a shot, it can’t hurt you but can maybe help…

I’ve just seen thread about this posted on our forum and i have to say it’s an awesome tool for anyone into paysites and affiliate programs industry. Interesting and unusual competition will be held at adult webmasters show “Phoenix Forum 2008″ - The XXX IronMan competition.

What is The XXX IronMan? Here’s quote from their official web site: “The XXX IronMan is an event created to combine all the skills known to be strong amongst Adult Webmasters: Hand-eye Coordination, Wrist Strength and Alcohol Tolerance.” Sounds fun doesn’t it? You can bet it will be lots of fun, just check out the rules

The XXX IronMan Rules:
“1. Teams: Teams consist of 2 players unless both players are female, in which case, they may elect for a dedicated drinker.

2. Dedicated Drinkers: In the case that an all female team elects for a dedicated drinker the dedicated drinker will drink any beer or shots required by the play of his or her associated team.

3. All Female Teams: To qualify for rights to a dedicated drinker each female team member must agree to remove one piece of clothing for each shot made by their opposing team. The maximum number and type of clothing allowed includes a shirt, bra, pants/skirt/shorts, panties and shoes/socks. This enables each all female team to have 10 total pieces of clothing, 1 for each cup in play.

4. Game Time: All preliminary and semi-final games are limited to 30 minutes in length. If at the end of 30 minutes neither team has won, the team with the least amount of cups remaining will be deemed the winner, and the losing team will be required to drink all cups remaining on the table. There is no time limit for the Final Game.

5. Ties: There is no such thing as a tie! If at the end of 30 minutes each team as the same amount of cups then sudden death will continue with each team shooting 1 ball at a time until a team makes a cup. Once a team as made a shot, the losing team will drink all cups remaining on the table.”

“LOS ANGELES – In an effort to address ongoing questions about the company’s performance and connectivity, Internet Payment Service Provider CCBill has released the results of its global content performance study.

Commonly, clients will blame the IPSP’s lack of connectivity for a drop-off in sales; while the IPSP’s Consumer Support department has been responsible for dealing with cancellation requests over issues of client website connectivity.

Clearly, connectivity is the issue, but where does the fault lie – with CCBill or the client’s own website? This new study by CCBill’s Policy Review group set out to find an answer.

CCBill tested sites from both its main offices, as well as from locations around the world, in order to understand the major performance differences that are seen across different regions and during certain peak times.

“We began by mapping out those times and areas, against the afternoon/evening hours of the population concentrations with relatively easy access to the Internet, and the ability to pay for products online,” Mark Greenspan, CCBill vice president of risk assessment, said. “What we found was that up to 35 percent of the time, depending on the time/region, qualified consumers who were able to join your sites and access your content online, were unable to join because of connectivity issues.”

Seeking to address the role that CCBill plays in these issues, the company has hosted all sign up form images such as banners and logos, on a Content Delivery Network which allows content to be served to users from the closest or fastest “node” on a worldwide network of servers.

As a result of the use of CDN for the delivery of its forms, CCBill reports a noticeable decrease in load times, especially throughout Western Europe.”

Will RapidShare be forced to shut down? Chances are it WILL

RapidShare is Free Files Host that’s widely used for illegal distribution and piracy of adult content, software, copyrighted movies and songs, pictures etc… If it gets closed down it will not only reduce amounts of illegal content online directly, it will also make hundreds thousands of 404 links from illegal porn forums from all over the Internet where people are posting links to illegal contents hosted on RapidShare… Maybe there is hope for online adult industry after all

One of the most visited adult tube sites, RedTube.com got hacked 4 days ago by group of hackers from Turkey calling themselves NetDevilz.

I can only say good job guys because they did big favor to legal online adult industry for at least short time by stopping people from downloading full time videos illegaly stolen from paysite members areas of many adult affiliate programs

Two adult tube sites that are serving lots of stolen and illegal video material, RedTube and YouPorn were two of the top 20 fastest growing web sites in 2007 according to Complete.com Site Analytics Blog.

This can’t be good for adult industry in my opinion… Yes there were always illegal movies out there in P2P networks and torrent sites but never before millions of surfers got free access to them month after month. Plus tube sites are safe, no viruses, no hacks etc so there’s no cons from surfers point of view. And full time videos are just few clicks away…

Can programs do something about this? Can they protect their content and affiliates? I think no one knows but future is not bright at the moment…
